« Flowers blooming on a festive day »
Dance and music will take you on a journey during a gentle evening in a magnificent historic setting.

This project was born of a partnership with Cie Tjukurpa and Sylvie Ollivier (dancer-choreographer), which then brought together Yiyao Wang (dancer-singer-choreographer) and myself, Jyotsna Liyanaratne.
It seemed to me that my discovery of La Trave (Préchac, Gironde) was an invitation to bring the place to life, an opportunity to seize, to bring together for the first time this trio of dancers and Sylvie’s original project.

Then, by chance, I met Mr Hirondelle and other beautiful rare birds from the region and a little further afield, who agreed to join in this project; to bring to life an artistic, poetic and sharing moment, at the end, still troubled by several restrictions, of a worldwide pandemic that has isolated and shaken many people.

All that was missing was a partnership with the renowned Adichats association and the volunteers on their heritage renovation projects, to put in place a great team, ready to come together to make 29 July 2021 a day of celebration where music, dance and poetry reminded us of the importance of letting life pulsate!
